Overview
I don’t know where to begin, but this place is incredible. Because of the cost, we were initially a little skeptical, but once you arrived and saw it for yourself, you realized it was all worthwhile.
Let me begin by praising the staff, who were all genuinely pleasant and accommodating. Additionally nice, the lifeguards helped everyone with their kayaking.
The building itself was fantastic, too. The beach was a little rough onshore, but when you go kayaking in the deeper part, that’s where you’ll really appreciate the beauty of Laiya. The infinity pool was fantastic.
The accommodations met all of our needs and were spotless.
To sum up: The beachfront, upper-middle-class Acuatico Beach Resort & Hotel in Leiya is a 35-minute drive from Naambon Falls and has 21 rooms. The hotel’s stunning infinity pool, which has views of the bay and beach, is the area’s highlight.
There are two restaurants, but the food has received mixed reviews. There is also a pool bar and a free breakfast served in the mornings.
Massages are available at a small spa with a sauna, and the hotel has a game room and a play area for children. The flat-screen TVs, iPod docks, and minibars in suites range from one to three bedrooms, but they are compact and have small bathrooms.

1. Location

Several other resorts and hotels are nearby the beach, and Manila is three hours away.
In the Philippine province of Batangas, Leiya, the hotel is located right on the shore. There are a few other resorts nearby, but there aren’t many others that are accessible on foot. Mt. Daguldul and the Naambon Falls are a couple of nearby attractions that can be reached in about 35 minutes by car.
Batangas is roughly a two-hour drive away, while Manila is a three-hour drive away. It takes 2.5 to 3 hours to get to Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport, which is the closest airport.
2. Scene
Charming beachfront hotel with lovely pool area and some outstanding bay views
The Acuatico Beach Resort & Hotel is a charming, modest beachfront lodging with gardens built around a wonderful outdoor infinity pool with breathtaking views of the beach and bay.
There are only 21 guest rooms on the premises, giving it a cozy atmosphere. The modern, if somewhat dull, interior design is here. The lobby’s windows allowing in a lot of light, pristine white walls, and beige tile floors give the area a light, airy feel.
The hotel’s lobby offers a place to unwind with rectangular and square-shaped black seating gathered around a coffee table, but given its location, the hotel is all about the outdoors.
The majority of guests relax by the beach and pool while sipping cocktails and admiring the scenery. The area is surrounded by lush palm trees that provide some shade.
And the pool bar, which is located directly in the water and is accessible by walkways, has a tall, angular roof and commands a stunning view of the water blending into the bay beyond.
Families are the majority of guests at this hotel, despite its romantic ambiance, due to its multi-room suites.

3. Rooms
Simple, contemporary suites, many with balconies or private terraces, but the bathrooms are tiny and claustrophobic.
Even if some of the design can feel uninspired, these 21 suites are contemporary and light. Crisp whites and beiges are combined with various shades of brown in neutral color palettes, and there are many wooden features (furniture, flooring, etc.) throughout.
While modern, clean-lined wooden furniture features TV shelving and storage for additional amenities like minibars, padded coffee-colored headboards provide a striking contrast to the stark white bed linens. Private lanais, decks, or terraces are available in some rooms, some of which have excellent ocean views.
The largest of the hotel’s one, two, and three-bedroom suites can accommodate up to six guests. The individual rooms inside the suites can, however, be small.
Keep in mind that some of the bigger units are duplexes with stairs, which could be problematic for people with mobility concerns or families with young children.
Flat-screen TVs, coffee and tea makers, minibars, iPod docks, electronic safes, complimentary bottled water, and free Wi-Fi are all considered standard amenities.
Small but slick and contemporary bathrooms feature showers with rainfall heads or shower/tub combinations, teeny water closets, and tiny basins. There are magnifying mirrors, plenty of amenities, and hairdryers hung on the wall.
4. Features
Two eating options, a spa with a sauna, a children’s play area, and complimentary Wi-Fi
One of the hotel’s features is its wonderful infinity pool, which offers stunning views of the beach and harbor. A bar is located at the center of the pool, and walkways cross the water to get there from the sundeck surrounding it.
A hot tub and a children’s pool are also available. Of course, having free kayaks and pedal boats is a huge perk, as is having direct access to a gorgeous section of beach.
One restaurant choice is Oceano, which is open 24/7 and serves both Western and Asian cuisine in addition to traditional Filipino meals.
A more laid-back choice is Azul Bar & Cafe, which offers cocktails and other drinks along with light fare including sandwiches, salads, and Tex-Mex cuisine. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and on the weekends it features live music.
Although breakfast is included in the accommodation charge, there have been some complaints about the quality.
The Simona Spa provides saunas and massages. Other features include a gift store, laundry and dry cleaning services, conference spaces for up to 50 people, free Wi-Fi, and airport shuttles.
A game room with a pool table, foosball, and ping-pong is available for more adult play, while a bright playroom for children with toys and games is also available.
